Man Left A Paraplegic After Nowra Shooting – 5 Charged

willows van park police raid Shoalhaven Detectives have  revealed a man shot at a Nowra caravan park earlier this year is now a permanent paraplegic.

30 year old Alexander Lindsay was shot in the doorway of his cabin  at the Willows Caravan Park near the banks of the Shoalhaven River  back in February.

He was flown to St George Hospital in Sydney for specialist care, but has been left a paraplegic as a result of his injuries.

Willows shooting three Police have now charged five people following the shooting.

The latest, 40 year old  Mitchell Young of Sanctuary Point has been charged with being an  accessory before the fact of shooting with intent to murder,  and concealing a serious indictable offence.

One man, a 29 year old from Tomerong has been charged with attempted murder

Supporters of a planned motor racing track near HMAS Albatross say the Shoalhaven will lose millions of dollars a year if the project is scrapped . Shoalhaven Council is to go ahead with a trial to erect large banners designed to block views of Jervis Bay in areas where beach side vegetation has been deliberately chopped down.
