Power has been cut to a wide area of the Shoalhaven , north of the river. Areas worst hit are parts of North Nowra, Cambewarra, Tapitallee and Bangalee. The power went off about 8 this morning, came back on momentarily and was then blacked out again. A spokesman for Endeavour Energy says there has been a technical issue, the nature of which is yet to be determined. Power supplies may not be restored in some areas until midday. It is the second extended Sunday morning power blackout in the area in the last few weeks. |
