6 Recovering After Being Injured Bus and Truck Crash

pollice logo Police are continuing to interview witnesses to yesterday's crash in Ulladulla , where a driverless out of control truck ploughed into the side of a bus.

The truck rolled out of a driveway near Alan May Holden and sideswiped the Premier Motor Service coach which was on its way up the coast from Eden and parked at the side of the Princes Highway

There were 52 people  on the bus with 6 suffering  minor injuries and 4 taken to Milton Hospital for treatment

Police were forced to divert traffic into side streets while paramedics treated the injured and salvage crews cleared away the damaged coach and truck.

Earlier there was a crash  involving two vehicles on Woodburn Rd south west of Milton

A 53 year old man  was trapped by the lower legs and had to be cut from the wreckage before being flown to hospital in the ambulance rescue helicopter.
A second person suffered minor injuries and was taken by road ambulance to  Milton hospital.

Southern Highlands residents who dont mind a bit of nostalgia are being urged to join a trip in some historic rail carriages this weekend. Three trips are being organised this Sunday from  Goulburn to Medway Junction near Marulan. Woman Drives Off –Crashes Into Car Containing Kids

A woman who police claim was  under the influence of alcohol has been charged after ploughing into a parked car with three children in it as well as crashing into a tree. Police allege after drinking a large amount of alcohol the 54 year old got behind the wheel of her car and began driving up Fitzroy Street in Goulburn around 5pm on Saturday. Thieves Go On Crime Spree North Of Mittagong

Police are puzzled as to why thieves have made a series of concerted raids on the contents of motor vehicles in a small town north of Mittagong. Under the cover of darkness, and  in the space of one night at Yerrinbool,  almost 20 vehicles, cars, four wheel drives and trucks  have been broken into. Police say most of the vehicles were unlocked, and items taken have include wallets, tools and other valuables.
