Gash Not Worried About Nationals Move On Gilmore |

Gilmore MP Jo Gash says it is up to the Nationals whether they stand a candidate against the Liberals in the south coast based seat at the next federal election. Rocker Angry Anderson has indicated that he is keen to stand for the National Party in the seat of Gilmore and believes he has an excellent chance of winning, if he gains pre-selection. Mrs Gash is retiring at the end of her current term and moving into local government, paving the way for a contest with the Nationals. The Nationals may also run a candidate in the Goulburn seat of Hume where sitting MP Alby Schultz is retiring. But Mrs Gash says is not prepared to comment on pure speculation. |
