Police say information from witnesses will be crucial in their investigations into yesterday's death of
three people on the Hume Highway
The three occupants of a Ford died, after their car was hit by a B double , which speared over a median
strip and into the path of on coming traffic.
Those killed were 59-year-old Calvyn Logan from Forster and the two passengers , his parents, 81-year-old
Donald Logan and 81-year-old Patricia Logan, also from Forster.
The 33-year-old male truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.
He has also undergone mandatory blood and urine testing.
He was later taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he assisted police with inquiries.
Robert and Gary Logan, Calvyn Logan’s sons, have today joined with police to appeal for anyone who
may have been driving on the Hume Highway at the time of the collision to come forward.
The 18-year-old female learner driver of a vehicle sought by police has now been interviewed and inquiries are
continuing.
Her father, who was supervising her at the time, has also spoken with police.
