Teenagers Found After Being Lost On Bushwalk Near Bowral

police logo Police and emergency services have successfully rescued two teenage bushwalker's who became stranded in remote terrain between Goulburn and Bowral

The teenage boys aged 16 and 17 set out on the walk from Foxgrove Rd, Canyonleigh around 11am yesterday morning

The pair contacted police from their mobile phones when they did not make it out before night fall.

Police established the exact where about's of the boys via their mobiles

They were located safe and well within the designated search area at about 12:30 this morning

In the lead up to winter, Fire and Rescue NSW is holding its annual fire station open days across the Southern Highlands today. Open days provide an opportunity for the community to see real life fire rescue demonstrations and to learn about the best ways to prevent and handle a fire in the home. Hundreds Expected For Action Of  Historic Pub’s Contents

One of the most unusual sales the Southern Highlands has ever seen is on this Sunday, as the contents of a well known local pub go up for auction. Police Get New Mobile Command Post

Police in the southern highlands and southern tablelands have taken delivery of a  new Mobile Police Command Vehicle which will which be used for operations between Mittagong and Yass and out to Boorowa The vehicle is equipped with location specific radio , a television monitor, digital message boards and an interview room. It will be used at crime and disaster scenes across the region and is effectively a mobile police station.
