UPDATE Shoalhaven Woman dies after horror accident

A young Nowra woman critically injured in a crash near Berry over the weekend has died in a Sydney Hospital.

The 20 year old died when her Toyota Yaris collided with a four wheel drive on Toolijooa Road between Gerringong and Berry around 4.40 on Saturday afternoon.

The woman  suffered  major internal injuries and multiple fractures  was taken to Wollongong Hospital before being transferred to St George in southern Sydney.

She died at lunch time yesterday after her family took the heart breaking decision to shut down a life support system.

The driver of the second vehicle a 49 year old Toolijooa man suffered minor injuries.
