Shoalhavens Worst Road

A section of road south of Nowra, on the edge of suburbia and in an expanding industrial area,  has been named as the worst in the Shoalhaven.

Quinns Lane runs from the Princes Highway,  east,  to Old Southern Road, has a creek and causeway running across it, and is severely pot holed.

The causeway is closed after even moderate rain, as water struggles to find a path along the rubbish riddled and over grown creek.

Gilmore MP and Mayoral candidate Jo Gash says the road is not only dangerous, it is a downright disgrace, is an embarrassment to the region, and has to be the number one priority for re-construction.

Drivers say  Quinns Lane was never good at the best of times, but has now become a major safety hazard, because of the flooding, and the huge holes in the pavement.
