Young Shoalhaven Man Doomed Without Organ Transplants

A young southern Shoalhaven man who may not make it to Christmas without a heart and double lung transplant has made an emotional video appeal for an organ donor.

20 year William Chapman is suffering a congenital heart condition, and along with his parents and sisters has taken to You Tube, in a video which has so far recorded more than 8,000 hits.

Since the age of 16 William has lost 80% of his dry body weight, cant walk more than 30 metres and spends most of his time in a Sydney  hospital, dreaming of a heart and double lung donor.

In the video William says there are thousands of Australian's whose lives could be saved or extended,  if more people were prepared to donate their organs
