Get close to Hugh Jackman

Wolverine1 THE cast of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will be shot in an unexpected surrounding as the crew heads to Picton, south-west of Sydney, this week.

Hugh Jackman himself is believed to be visiting region when movie-makers take over a section of Menangle St to film scenes for the movie, the Macarthur Chronicle reported.

A Wollondilly Council spokeswoman confirmed the crew and cast would be using the old hardware shop and Wollondilly Shire Hall, as well as the section of Menangle St in front of the two, for filming.

The road will be closed from noon on TODAY until late Friday.

Filming will take place on Friday.

Earlier this week, dozens of cast and crew members spied in action at Kurnell on the shores of Botany Bay.

Set in Japan, the sequel to 2009's X Men Origins: Wolverine was filmed on a makeshift Japanese prison camp yesterday - but there was no sign of star Hugh Jackman, who is yet to surface as the sharp-clawed mutant.
He did make an appearance on Twitter yesterday, posting: "We're on day 1 of shooting. Wolverine is back. so pumped about this one. felt so ready!!!! will keep y'all posted!!!"
Russian starlet Svetlana Khodchenkova is expected to be announced as Jackman's leading lady today.

The little-known actress - who is believed to have stepped in when Jessica Biel passed on the project - is widely tipped to play the villainous Viper.
Khodchenkova appeared as Irina in last year's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Yes ladies, you could be up close and personal with Hugh!!
