A survey out shows, more than 80 per cent of Australians want dashing young Prince William - not his father - to be the next king. Prince Charles is earmarked to succeed his mother Queen Elizabeth, who currently is celebrating her Diamond Jubilee after 60 years on the British throne.
What do you think... I feel sorry for Prince Charles who has been waiting in the wings and I have to say since Charles has married Camilla she hasn’t put a foot wrong. Who should succeed the Queen, Charles or William? |

Ford to Cut 1,500 Jobs
Ford Australia has been given $1.1 billion in state and Federal Government assistance since 2000. Over the same period, Ford says it has invested $3.3 billion in design and engineering of future models. Today came the news that Ford will close its Broadmeadows car factory and Geelong engine plant in October 2016, a move that will cost at least 1500 people their jobs. Ford will however keep the 1100 jobs in design and engineering, based at the Broadmeadows site, although those staff will now work solely on Ford’s foreign vehicles. The move means... Read more
The Cost of Raising Children
The cost of raising children in Australia has skyrocketed in the past five years, with middle-income families spending up to $458 a week to raise a child. The report also found that at every income level, it is more expensive to raise a child as they get older, with those aged 18-24 the most expensive. The news comes from an Income and Wealth Report, showing an average middle-income Australian family is spending about $812,000 to raise two children to the age of 24.
