Charles or William

Queen Elizabeth

A survey out shows, more than 80 per cent of Australians want dashing young Prince William - not his father - to be the next king. Prince Charles is earmarked to succeed his mother Queen Elizabeth, who currently is celebrating her Diamond Jubilee after 60 years on the British throne.

It seems the vast majority of Australians have a soft spot for her grandson William following his fairytale wedding to Kate Middleton, a commoner. The survey of 1000 Australians from Ancestry.com.au has found 81 per cent of respondents want Prince William to become the next king.

What do you think... I feel sorry for Prince Charles who has been waiting in the wings and I have to say since Charles has married Camilla she hasn’t put a foot wrong.

Who should succeed the Queen, Charles or William?

Ford will however keep the 1100 jobs in design and engineering, based at the Broadmeadows site, although those staff will now work solely on Ford’s foreign vehicles. The move means... Read more
