Why Do We Take Unnecessary Risks With Our Eyes?

According to a new poll, Australians are taking unnecessary risks while working around the home we also take our eyesight for granted. An incredible 42% admitting to never wearing eye protection while mowing the lawn according to the latest Newspoll commissioned by The RANZCO Eye Foundation as part of its annual 'JulEYE' campaign. This is despite 90% of all eye injuries being preventable if simple precautions are undertaken.
