I loved this song first time i heard it back in the 70’s, well 1974 to be precise. The thing is I could never understand what they were singing. Thank God for the net.

Wizzard were the band, bit of a one hit wonder here in Australia.The lead singer Roy Wood was also a member of the British band The Move.

It was written and produced by Wood, and the record is deeply indebted to Phil Spector’s “Wall of Sound “technique.

Abba later acknowledged its influence on their first major international hit "Waterloo" the following year.
