Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

Here’s Kate live in concert in Germany .The Year is 1978.

"Wuthering Heights" is a song by Kate Bush released as her debut single in January 1978. It became a No.1 hit in the UK singles chart and remains her biggest-selling single. The song appears on her 1978 debut album, . "Wuthering Heights" came 32nd in Q magazine's Top 100 Singles of All Time, as voted by readers. It is also #22 on Rate Your Music's Top Singles of All Time.

The guitar solo is played by Ian Bairnson, best known for his work with Alan Parsons. It is often mistakenly said that David Gilmour played the solo, possibly due to his professional associations with Kate Bush.

It is placed rather unobtrusively in the mix, and later engineer Jon Kelly would regret not making the solo a little louder in the mix. The song was re-recorded in 1986 for Bush's greatest-hits album The Whole Story. This version also appeared as the B-side to her 1986 hit "Experiment IV".

The song itself was a personal favorite of Tupac Shakur, who had enjoyed and been influenced by the works of Bush; including it in his soundtrack to his life

"Shake a Tail Feather" (Otha Hayes, Verlie Rice, and Andre Williams) is a song originally recorded in 1963 by the Chicago-based group The Five Du-Tones. "Shake a Tail Feather" has been covered by many other artists over the years, perhaps most notably by Ray Charles, who performed the song during his scenes in the 1980 film The Blues Brothers. "Can't Help Myself" is the first single released by the Australian synthpop/rock band Flowers, later known as Icehouse2] It was released in May 1980 as a 7" vinyl single on independent label, Regular Records, five months ahead of debut album Icehouse.
