Parlour games – what are they?

With a wet weekend around the corner, ditch the iphone, turf the computer games, have some interaction eye to eye around the table, come on lets do it the way it used to be. The family will be wrapped.

Lets head to the shed, or the linen closet and drag out those favourite games, lets have a retro weekend, lets play “pick up sticks”, “a barrel of monkeys”, “mouse trap” – how good were they. Hours of fun and real human interaction.

Tell us your favourites. The mind will “boggle” – there’s another one!

Clowning Around for a Good Cause

The Masked Clown Doctors Ball this Saturday the 15th of June is a fun way to raise money for the Humour Foundation. The funds raised provide opportunities in our hospitals for kids and families who are stressed due to illness to laugh at the antics of the Clown Doctors and their work. Highland’s Bred Player’s Player

A big congratulations goes out to local Moss Vale Junior Dragons and Western Suburbs back-rower Ray Stone who was awarded the Players Player award last night in the U16’s game against QLD at ANZ Stadium. This was a fantastic effort with a win of 30-0. Well done! Read more
