What are your memories of the Yo Yo ?

As a youth growing up in the 60’s and 70’s we always got a Yo Yo, even entered a Yo Yo contest.

Who ever did the most loop de loops won.

My mate Mick won a watch and a Cat Stevens record. I won nothing.

I think I failed at the “3 leaf clover”

I kind of wondered who would buy a beginners Yo Yo ?

Maybe a beginner.

What about the “Executive” Yo Yo ?

I could never afford one of those

they were a bit out of my price range.,

I think they were about 40c.

The spoilt kids who had rich parents had one of them.

There was always the dreaded moment when you got a knot in your Yo Yo?

How bad was that. Hated the knots ,when you got a knot you couldn’t do a spinner, if you couldn’t do a spinner, you couldn’t do “walk the dog “or “ rock the baby”.

Granny skydiver nearly meets her maker.
