Read on. Here’s the story courtesy of the Daily Telegraph COREY Loveridge and a mate murdered a 17-year-old boy in a random street attack hours after he said he wanted "to stab and kill someone tonight", court documents allege. Loveridge, 18, and his mate, 17, repeatedly kicked and stabbed Alan Ray Gordon, known as "Ray Ray", until he fell to the ground in a Sydney street, the documents said. The two teenagers allegedly committed the murder on the same night they allegedly bashed an 87-year-old woman in a violent home invasion. The court documents said the pair broke the woman's walking stick over her head and kicked and punched her after she fell to the ground. In Penrith Local Court yesterday, magistrate Annette Sinclair committed Loveridge for trial in the Supreme Court on September 14 in Sydney. Corey Loveridge and his co-accused allegedly attacked Alan, his brother and stepbrother in Maple Rd, North St Marys, in Sydney's west, about 3.20am on December 1, 2010. Alan's brothers assumed he had escaped with them but returned to find him bleeding in the gutter. He died on the way to hospital. Alan's mother gave The Daily Telegraph permission to use her son's name, although he is a victim of crime. Less than two hours earlier, police say Elena Parrelli, 87, awoke to find the pair at the rear of her house before she was beaten so badly she could not walk. While she was being attacked she activated her "VitalCall" necklace, which recorded yelling and threats of "We'll f...ing kill you" and "Where's the money, motherf...er?" Corey Loveridge was arrested a day later at Parramatta railway station while buying a bus ticket to South Australia, where his father lives. He is also charged with telling a family member during a phone conversation from Silverwater jail to recruit someone to "bash the f ... out of Billy". "Billy" is an associate of the accused and a Crown witness. Corey Loveridge also sent a letter from custody to two cousins telling them to "shut there (sic) mouths", the court documents allege. Corey Loveridge is the cousin of Kieran Loveridge, 18, who was charged last week with the bashing murder of Thomas Kelly, 18, and the assault of three other young males in Kings Cross in just over an hour on the night of July 7. Kieran Loveridge is expected to make an application for bail in Burwood Local Court today. His 17-year-old friend remains in custody for assaulting a Channel 9 cameraman outside the court where Kieran appeared last week. |

Tom Waterhouse, Ian Macdonald and the dumb smile.
Was watching the news the other night, and they had the story about bookmaker Tom Waterhouse and they had footage of poor old Tom walking into the hearing, involving his mum and and race horse owner John Singleton, and Tom just had this dumb smile planted on his face. And this happens a lot, either they’re pretending to be talking on the mobile phone, or they’ve got the dumb smile happening, same with that ex state Labor minister Ian Macdonald, who’s being investigated at the moment. He is the king of dumb smiles. Next time he’s on... Read more
