The Air Cadets No. 330 Squadron provides training to boys and girls aged 13 to 20 years in a variety of subjects covering drill, field craft, technical and promotional topics. Air experience, flying and rifle shooting is also carried out. Regular camps are held at operational RAAF Bases, plus local bush camps. Training is held from 6.30pm to 9.30 pm each Tuesday during the school term and on occasional weekends on local bush camps and rifle shooting. CONTACT 02 4424 2720 number Tuesday evenings only. Berry Celtic Festival
This year’s 6th Berry Celtic Festival will be held on Saturday 26th May, at the Berry Showground. It will start with a street parade at 9.30am, and will include nine pipe bands, vintage and historical cars, carrying our dignitaries of the day. Representatives from various clans and dancers. The parade will proceed to the showground, with official opening at 10am, by Mrs Margaret Sharpe, the Convenor(Chairperson) of the Celtic Council of Australia. There will be many stalls, selling food, including Haggis Black Pudding,Scottish Sausage, Cornish Pasties, Pancakes, Pies and Sausage rolls, Devonshire Teas, Coffee, and Celtic Wares, Tartan,and woodwork. Jan Mulligan Fundraiser

A fundraiser will be held on the 25th May to assist Manyana woman, Jan Mulligan, who is a popular local artist battling a rare illness. The Manyana grandmother has been in hospital since November 2011 and her family and the Bendalong/Manyana community are keen to see her settled back in her home as soon as practicable. To raise funds for Jan and her family, a trivia night will be held on Friday, May 25 at 7pm at the Manyana Community Hall.
