The Salvo’s need your help

The Salvation Army Red Shield Retail Store is in need of your help. They rely on donations from the public to run our retail store. All good quality donations received from the public are sold at a reasonable price. The funds raised go to support ministry and welfare needs in the Ulladulla area.

The Salvation Army Red Shield Retail store is in desperate need of winter clothing, blankets. furniture and electrical goods. If you can not come to the store they can arrange a pick up from Monday to Friday.

If you have never been to the Salvation Army Red Shield Store then please come along to check things out. The address of the Salvation Army Red Shield is at Shop 12 137 Princes Highway in Ulladulla. The phone number is 4454-1538

‘World No Tobacco Day’ 31/05/2013

Every year, on 31st May, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and partners everywhere mark World No Tobacco Day. This highlights the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption. Tobacco use is the single most preventable cause of death globally and is currently responsible for killing one in 10 adults worldwide. So this World No Tobacco Day Come down and talk to the Tackling Smoking/Healthy Lifestyle team about giving up smoking or making your home a smoke free environment. Its now time for The Biggest Morning Tea “Breaky” Style. Where: 1-3 Coller Road, Blackburn Industrial Estate “Breaky" is at 8am - serving Bacon & Egg rolls! 9.30am - 11.30am is Morning Tea. $5.00 donation would be great. Nowra’s newest markets are on this Sunday, May 26th from 8.30am to 1.30pm at the Nowra Greyhound Track, Albatross Road, Nowra. Arts, crafts, bric-a-brac, new and second hand tools plus plants of all types. There are plenty of stalls outside and undercover which is great during inclement weather. Read more
