The Southern Highlands job market could receive a boost under a restructuring of Federal Government departments, being organised by the Minister for Regional Development.

The Minister, Fiona Nash is moving to decentralise a number of departments, saying all ministers will need to report to Cabinet by August, stating which departments are suitable, with business cases to be provided by the end of the year.

Ms Nash, says it will create a number of opportunities for local jobs, schools and businesses.
