Patients and families across the Milton Ulladulla region will benefit from an expanded Community Cancer Services Centre, as part of the Milton Ulladulla Hospital upgrades.

The NSW Government is investing $7.5 million to deliver improved health infrastructure at Milton Ulladulla Hospital to meet the current and future healthcare needs of the local community.

The Cancer Services Centre at the hospital will include an additional treatment room with an ensuite, an extra consultation room, and a new reception space.

The inclusion of a single room with an ensuite will enable the Centre to better support local patients who require isolation or additional privacy during treatment and reduce the need for these patients to travel to Shoalhaven Hospital for care.

The expanded and enhanced spaces have been designed to preserve the calming, therapeutic views across the valley, supporting the healing journey of patients undergoing treatment.

The hospital upgrade will also include a new CT scanner and updated medical imaging spaces to provide enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

Construction is expected to begin in the coming months, following the appointment of a contractor.
