Wingecarribee Shire Council will be carrying out pre-commissioning works for the new
Eridge Park Road Water Pump Station from Monday 25 August to Friday 29 August
2025, between 7.00am and 5.00pm daily.
Council advised there will be no disruption to water supplies but customers in Bowral, Moss Vale and Burradoo may notice minor, temporary changes in water pressure or discolouration.
It said if discolouration occurs, run cold taps, preferably outdoors, in the laundry or
kitchen for a few minutes to flush pipes and avoid using discoloured water for laundry
or cooking until it clears.
Council said, the works are part of a critical investment in the region’s water infrastructure.
The new pump station will improve the reliability and capacity of the water supply,
particularly for the growing Moss Vale area, and allow water to be transferred south to
Bundanoon and Exeter in emergencies. This strengthens the overall resilience and
security of the local water network for years to come.
