The Wool Road in Old Erowal Bay is temporarily closed pending an engineering inspection scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Due to a high volume of water flowing through the culvert, the stability of the road has been compromised, and a further engineering inspection report is required to determine the degree of deterioration to the road surface.
The road is closed at the site of current rehabilitation works and residents are advised to detour via Tomerong until the road is able to be re-opened. The detour takes around 20 minutes.

Following tomorrow’s investigation, Council will update the community on necessary works and timeframes.
