Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on a section of Moss Vale Road at Cambewarra Mountain following slope movement.

The impacted site is located about 900 metres north of the hairpin bend at the intersection with Cambewarra Lookout Road.

Single lane closures, stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place between Carrington Road and 1045 Moss Vale Road, near Harpers Creek, for the safety of road users and to help prevent further movement of the slope.

The lane closure will be in place from today, Thursday 25 September, for up to five weeks, while investigations and slope stabilisation work is planned and carried out.

Transport for NSW will keep the community informed as slope investigations continue and work progresses.

Motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes’ additional travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
