Sashes & Saddles: A Glamorous Afternoon of Polocrosse, Music, and Food Celebrating the 2026 Nowra Show Young Woman Entrants
The Nowra Show Society is inviting the community to step into an afternoon of polocrosse, music, and celebration at Sashes & Saddles on Saturday, 1 November 2025 at the Nowra Showground Pavilion.
This unique event combines the excitement of a live polocrosse match with the elegance of a garden party, complete with live music, delicious food, a complimentary spritz on arrival, and an atmosphere of fun and festivity.
Sashes & Saddles will shine a spotlight on the 2026 Nowra Show Young Woman Program entrants, celebrating their achievements and announcing the winner in front of family, friends, and the wider community.
“This event is about bringing people together – celebrating tradition, showcasing our incredible Young Woman entrants, and creating a fun, stylish evening for everyone to enjoy,” said James Thomson, President of the Nowra Show Society.

The event will run from 4pm into the evening at the Nowra Showground Pavilion, with tickets $40 per person. Guests are encouraged to embrace the Garden Party dress code – think summer dresses, hats, and polo elegance – and join in on classic traditions such as stomping the divots, just like the iconic scene in Pretty Woman.
