Xbox is turning 25, and to mark a quarter-century of glowing power buttons and late-night multiplayer sessions, the global Xbox FanFest Tour 2026 is heading to Australia.
After kicking things off in Los Angeles at the Xbox Games Showcase back in June, the international tour is landing in the Sydney CBD on Saturday, 17 October 2026.
What Can Fans Expect?
This is not a dull corporate presentation. Xbox is putting fans front and centre for an energetic, community-first gathering honouring the franchises, console moments, and players that shaped the brand over the past 25 years.
Attendees can dive into dedicated Xbox game rooms, test their nerdy knowledge in live trivia challenges, and chat directly with game creators during special developer meet-and-greet sessions. Whether you spent your teenage years glued to Halo: Combat Evolved or you live on Xbox Game Pass today, the day is designed for players to hang out and celebrate together.
How to Score an Invite
Here is the catch: you cannot simply purchase a ticket at the door. Spots are strictly limited, and passes are being distributed through an official sweepstakes draw.
To throw your hat in the ring, you must register on the official Xbox FanFest page. If selected, you will receive a direct invitation containing full entry and venue instructions.
