20-year-old threatened at knife point in Nowra by two thieves


South Coast Police are hunting for 2 young men who robbed a 20 year old at knife point in Nowra last Sunday night.

The victim had his mobile stolen but refused to hand over his wallet after being threatened near the intersection of Bridge Road and the Princes Highway.

One of the suspects is described as being tall with a slim build and brown hair while the other is of aboriginal-Torres Strait islander appearance and was riding a mountain bike.

Police still looking for suspect after armed robbery in Ulladulla


Detectives have released CCTV images as they continue to investigate an armed robbery at an Ulladulla newsagency in late April.

Just before midday on Thursday April 29, a man – armed with a knife and with a stocking covering his face – entered the business on Wason Street and threatened a 53-year-old female employee.

Another employee, a 49-year-old man, intervened and handed the man cash before he fled.


Police believe the robber then took off in an older model red ford sedan.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his late 20s, about 175cm to 180cm tall with stubble.

Staff locked in room during armed robbery at Sussex Inlet


Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a club at Sussex Inlet.

Shortly after 10.30 last night two armed men entered the RSL on Jacobs Drive.

One armed with a firearm and sledge hammer, the second with a machete and sledge hammer - threatened six staff members and locked them in a room, before stealing some cash and fleeing the premises.

The first man is described as having a large build and was wearing dark clothing with his head and face covered at the time of the offence... the second  is described as having a smaller build and was also wearing dark clothing, with a red bandana covering his face.

No staff members were physically injured during the incident.

Sussex Inlet armed robbery investigation continues


We're being asked for our help as inquiries continue into an armed robbery at Sussex Inlet last year.

About 10.30pm on Thursday July 25 two men forced entry to the RSL on Jacobs Street.

Armed with a firearm, sledgehammers and a machete, they threatened six staff members and locked them in a room, before stealing cash and escaping.

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man in a North Wollongong hardware store who they believe may be able to help with their inquiries.

He is wearing black pants and a black and grey hooded jumper.He is wearing black pants and a black and grey hooded jumper.

Investigators are not suggesting the man was involved in the incident, but they are appealing for information to identify him and anyone who may have information about the incident to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

Thief armed with a hammer robs a Nowra service station



Nowra Police are hunting a thief who held up a Shoalhaven Service station overnight armed with a hammer

The offender hit the Central Nowra BP in Plunkett street just after 9 pm.

He allegedly threatened the attendant, who handed over an undisclosed sum of cash, police said.


Police said the offender is of aboriginal appearance, skinny, and about 5ft 8.

He wore tracksuit pants with blue shorts over the top of them and a dark hoodie with a green cap.

Nowra Police are appealing for public help.

Two alleged thieves to face Nowra court today


Two men will face a committal hearing today after an armed robbery earlier this week in Nowra.

On Tuesday a 16-year-old boy was approached at Shoalhaven Netball Courts in South Nowra by two men who allegedly produced a knife and demanded money and his phone.

Police later caught up with the pair and after allegedly finding the victim's property,  charged them with several robbery offences.

The two 20-year-olds had bail formerly refused on Wednesday ahead of a further appearance today in Nowra Local Court.


Two charged over Sussex Inlet club armed robbery


Two men have been extradited from Queensland and charged over an alleged armed robbery at Sussex Inlet in 2019.

The State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Dalwood to investigate an armed robbery at a registered club in Sussex Inlet on Thursday 25 July 2019.

Police allege in court two men forced entry to the premises, one armed with a firearm and sledgehammer, the other armed with a machete and sledgehammer, and threatened six staff members, before locking them in a room and stealing cash.

No one was injured during the incident.


Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives raided two addresses in Broadbeach, Queensland, where they arrested two men, aged 34 and 43.

The men were taken to Southport Magistrates Court where detectives applied for and were granted their extradition to NSW.

The pair were remanded in custody and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where they were both charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon.
