Member for Kiama Gareth Ward MP has today slammed the Commonwealth Bank for failing its customers in regional communities.
It follows the Bank’s decision to close down its ATM in Meroo Street, Bomaderry this Friday.
Mr Ward says it's another case of banks putting profits first – and people last.
He says it's a disappointing decision that will inconvenience many local Commonwealth Bank customers in Bomaderry and North Nowra.. particularly seniors, most of whom will now be forced to cross the river into Nowra to make ATM withdrawals.

The decision by the Commonwealth Bank to remove its ATM from Bomaderry has angered local resident and Kiama MP GARETH WARD.
Despite community opposition to the move the machine was removed last week.
Mr Ward says it's another example of the banks not listening and he's going to take the matter up in parliament.. "They make billion dollar profits, yet they treat their customers with contempt. Well people don't get to trample over our community. If people in the Commonwealth Bank that have made this decision think they're going to get away with this - well I'm going to take it all away to the floor of parliament and slug them square in the guts, because that's exactly what they've done to our custom."
