Kiama Council has confirmed Jamberoo Mountain Road will finally re – open on July 17.
The road was meant to open at the end of this month, but contractor delays have got in the way.
Robertson Business Chamber President Tim Hewitt said it’s long overdue.

“I know alot of the businesses that rely on traffic coming up from the Coast have suffered.
“I also know of a number of workers have to use the road aswell,”Mr. Hewitt said.
Meantime Contractors have nearly finished work at Foxground Road.
Work is also well underway at Wallaby Hill Road, where 84 piles are being used to reinforce the road before it’s resurfaced.
