There are changed traffic conditions along Old South Road at the Merrigang Street intersection in Bowral during work hours (7am-5pm) until Thursday this week.
Council said as it makes the finishing touches to this important project for our Shire, it will be necessary to change traffic flow through this section of road to one lane, under stop/slow traffic control.
Two-way traffic access will resume at the end of each day.
Works being undertaken by Wingecarribee Council’s contractor will involve deep lift asphalt work to improve safety for drivers, and traffic flow along Old South Road.
Old South Road is expected to remain closed between Merrigang St and Aylmerton Rd until December 2023 as works continue.
Road users are urged take care when driving through this area and plan your travel ahead of time to avoid possible delays.
