Two men have been charged in connection with an alleged assault at Tahmoor.
Just after 4am on Monday December 27, emergency services were called to a carpark on Thirlmere Way.
Police found a 20-year-old man with serious head and facial injuries.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he was placed in an induced coma.
He has since been released.
Officers from the Camden Police Area Command set up a crime scene and started an investigation with a small hatchback later found burnt out in a nearby carpark
A 26-year-old man was arrested about 5pm yesterday in Campbelltown.
The man, from Airds, was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with the following
* assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s) and dishonestly for gain damage property by fire/explosive.
A second man, also aged 26, was arrested at Campbelltown police station at 8.05pm yesterday and charged with the following:
* Assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s) and dishonestly for gain damage property by fire/explosive.
The Lumeah man was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm for a separate offence in January.
Both men were refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court today.
