Known for his radical and simplified forms, Brancusi’s work sparked controversy, notably when his Bird in Space was rejected as art by American customs. The event will delve into his life and key works, led by Rosalind Whyte, an experienced guide and lecturer with degrees from Goldsmith’s and Birkbeck Colleges. Whyte brings her expertise from the Tate and other prestigious institutions to this insightful presentation.
