Why does the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub need our support?

In the 2016 census, 279 people were recorded as homeless in the Shoalhaven, representing a 24.5% increase since the previous census. Homelessness is a humanitarian crisis that continues to rise.

SAHSSI (Supported Accommodations and Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra) are a not-for-profit specialist homelessness service committed to helping vulnerable people in need. The Shoalhaven Homeless Hub is a safe place for people in need, providing information, referral, emergency provisions together with access to laundry, bathroom and shower facilities.
