In just a few weeks, Mako Paddle Club, proudly sponsored by Club Jervis Bay, is throwing open the doors and inviting you to come and paddle for free on one of the most beautiful waterways in Australia: Jervis Bay.

We’re the only dragon boat club paddling on Jervis Bay, and we’re ready to show you what this incredible sport — and this amazing team — is all about.
💪 Who We Are
Aloha! We are the Mako Paddle Club, a growing, dynamic team with a Premier/Senior A (18–50 yrs) competitive focus. We train hard, race fast, and love every moment of it — from sunrise sessions in Huskisson to competing across Australia and, one day soon, internationally.
Our paddlers come from all walks of life, united by a love of fitness, teamwork, and adventure. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Shoalhaven, you’ll feel the energy the moment you pick up a paddle. That’s what we call #MakoMojo.
🚣♂️ Training & Competition
We train three times a week (in season September–April):
- Wednesdays: Late afternoon
- Fridays: Early mornings
- Sundays: The main club training day on the Bay
