Moss Vale Public School Country Fair 2023

After last year’s high of Country Fair, we are so excited to say we are going bigger than ever before. The P&C are thrilled to return with this much-loved and anticipated community event. Rain, hail or shine, we are going to make this the event of the year. It’s the grown-ups’ gift to MVPS kids – a night to remember.

Last year we were able to raise enough funds to help MVPS create a fully accessible sandpit and play area. Watch this space over the Christmas holidays – the school has been working hard with contractors to make this vision come alive.

This year we are fundraising for a fully accessible kitchen garden. The students are excited and so are we! You may have met the chickens Magnolia, Pansy, Daffodil, Bluebell, Lavender, Viola and Buttercup and seen the growing veggie patch. If you have yet to say hello, make sure to visit the top fields during the fair, where you can not only meet the chickens, but also have a play on the inflatables or even ride a pony.

From the sponsorship drive to sweeping up the hay at the end of the night, and everything in between, the Country Fair is a team effort that takes countless hours to stage – and it’s worth every minute. We always need more help though – whether it’s collecting donations in the lead up, setting up the stalls on the morning, decorating the school on the day, volunteering on the night or donating items we can sell on our stalls – we have jobs that will suit everyone, so please jump on board and do what you can.
