Free Event – Australia’s oldest sport the Woodchopping Competition starts at 10am, Classic Car Show, Devonshire tea, community & market stalls, BBQ, kids activities, raffle and more.
Woodchopping competition in Wandandian has been happening for 77 years. The timber industry in the region has been the backbone of many small communities with timber cutters settling in the area, growing the foundation of communities.
Wandandian is proud of their timber heritage and want to showcase the unique skills of the Axemen and Axewomen competing in the Woodchopping Competition.
