Zoe Elliot Kangaroo Valley EP Launch
Thanks to the amazing donors, the new EP is ready to be released. We are having a family friendly EP Launch concert in Kangaroo Valley to celebrate.
Zoe Elliot will be headlining (with local legends Paul Greene, Jordy Mawson and Will Nicholson Parker joining the band). Paul Greene will grace us with a set. And 3 young local up and coming talents will perform a song each to start the event.
We are going to embrace the Valley winter with fire pits, kid friendly venue and time, and heaters turned up in the hall. Make sure you rug up and feel free to bring blankets and cushions for kids to sit on the floor.
The Kangaroo Valley preschool – with their incredibly talent caterers – will be providing hearty meals and warm drinks at the venue as a fundraiser. (More details will be added later). So you can stay put and just BYO snacks.
Zoe Elliot is a singer‑songwriter who focuses on lyrics, story-telling, intricate harmonies and delicate melodies. Her shows are intimate and relaxed.
Zoe grew up in Sydney and later moved to the South Coast to raise her children. The shift in pace and place has reshaped the way she writes and performs.
She had released two EPs, Precipitate and Black Dog. Her songs touch on a variety of experiences and stories. From Stone Grey reflecting on how you can feel invisible in the city pace, to The Farmer song observing the changes over decades taking place in our rural towns. Zoe has written of love, loss, dementia, nature and simply delightful people. She loves to share stories and connect with her listeners. In 2010, she received some early encouragement, winning the Australian Songwriters Conference Awards and the 2GO Annual Acoustic Awards.
Zoe has had the pleasure of supporting Matt Corby, Renee Geyer, Tim Finn and other great artists.
In 2021, after the 2019–2020 bushfires, Zoe recorded two songs responding to what her community had experienced. This project was a stepping stone back into writing as she endeavoured to share the stories of her new home.
Zoe returned to the studio in 2025 and is now releasing her new project, My Heart Remembers. This year she’s sharing these new songs through concerts and local festivals, keeping things close to home and continuing to write about the people and places that shape her life.
