A Southern Highlands local has been named a 2023 Illawarra Volunteer of the Year.
Danielle Johns who’s a social worker by trade, volunteers for the 4 K’s which supports special needs kids aswell as Soul Warmers, which offers a community pantry.
Danielle is encouraging other people to volunteer.

“We lost a lot of our volunteers during the pandemic,
“We need people to come back, and do what their comfortable doing,”Mr. Johns said.
