A gathering will be held at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Mittagong on Friday for National Sorry Day from 6:30pm.
The day is all about acknowledging the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflecting on how Australians can all play a part in the healing process.
Gus Johnson from the Wingecarribee Reconciliation Group said it’s important to remember our history.

“So Sorry Day is a chance to reflect and learn our history, and not be in a state of ignorance and bliss,”
Light refreshments will be provided at the cultural centre.
