Wingecarribee Shire Council has announced a leadership transition within its executive team.
Mrs. Karin Targa, Director of Service and Project Delivery, known for her passion and skills in project delivery, will transition into a management role as Manager of Project Delivery within Wingecarribee Shire Council.
Mrs. Targa responded to an internal Expression of Interest for the role and in being the successful applicant, this move will enable her to balance family and work commitments.
This change allows Council to retain Mrs. Targa’s valuable corporate knowledge and leadership in project delivery.
Council said it fully supports and respects Mrs. Targa’s decision and appreciates her significant contributions as Director.
To ensure a smooth transition, Council has advertised the vacant Director of Service and Project Delivery position and initiated the recruitment process.
Mrs. Targa will continue to serve as Director, Service and Project Delivery until recruitment is finalised.
This will minimise disruption and ensure ongoing leadership during this time.
