Summer in the Southern Highlands just got brighter! Fusion Festival is set to bring a day
of music, food and art to Ngununggula Regional Art Gallery, Bowral, from 11am to
3pm on Saturday 14 February 2026.

Wingecarribee Shire Council has partnered with Ngununggula to curate a free, family
friendly celebration of cultural diversity, creativity, and community.

Tap your toes to captivating live music from Lolo Lovina and the Caravan Stage, dance
along to Nepali beats with DJ Sushil, and enjoy community cultural performances.

Bring along your picnic rug and treat your taste buds to a delicious mix of cuisines. There
will also be plenty of interactive activities with kids’ printmaking workshops, a drop-in
community mural, kite making, a sensory tent, and henna art.

Wingecarribee Mayor Jesse Fitzpatrick said that Fusion Festival is a direct outcome of the
Creative Highlands 2025–2029 plan, which aims to increase inclusive access to arts and
culture across the Shire.

“Fusion Festival is a fantastic example of the plan in action, creating opportunities across
cultural tourism, the creative economy and community events,” said Mayor Fitzpatrick.

“It’s set to be a jam-packed day for friends, families and neighbours to enjoy together this summer, with community at the heart. Come along and celebrate our beautiful Shire and all that makes it so special,” he said.
