Fatal crash Bargo

A woman has died following a crash in Sydney’s southwest yesterday.

About 3pm yesterday (Thursday 19 February 2026), emergency services were called to Remembrance Drive, Bargo, about 40km south of Campbelltown, following reports a black Mazda SUV and a white prime mover had collided.

The driver of the Mazda, a 73-year-old woman, was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Police confirmed the woman died upon arriving at hospital.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

The driver of the prime mover, a 37-year-old man, was uninjured and underwent mandatory testing at the scene, returning a negative result.

Officers attached Camden Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.
