Police are searching for a middle-aged ute driver who allegedly approached a schoolgirl at Sanctuary Point.
Police say the 13-year-old was riding her bicycle near Palm Beach around lunchtime last Thursday when a white or silver cab utility drove up.
The man began speaking with the girl, who then rode away in fear.
The man is described as being Caucasian, and was wearing shorts and a light blue shirt.
Police have released images of a vehicle seen in the area at the time and are appealing to the driver to contact them.
They’re also asking anyone who was in the Greville Avenue area and saw anything suspicious, or who has dash-cam footage of the incident, to get in touch with Nowra police station on (02)4421 9699, or the Crime Stoppers hotline on 1800 333 000.
