Residents across the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands are being encouraged to go bold with their hair this September in a show of support for life-saving cancer research.
The annual Brave the Shave campaign invites locals to cut, colour or shave their hair with funds raised going towards the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
It comes as figures show more than 2 in 5 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, with around 465 new cases every day.
