Kiama and Shoalhaven Shire beaches are set to become safer from shark attacks according to the latest announcement from the State Government.
The upcoming School Holidays will mark the start of new daily drone surveillance over Kiama, Gerringong, Culburra and Mollymook beaches as part of the rollout of 73 drones along the NSW coastline.
NSW Shark Management Program Leader Marcel Green says nowhere matches the effort being put into preventing attacks.
