Motorists are advised load testing will take place next week on Hampden Bridge.
Load testing will be carried out on Tuesday 6 October, from 9.30am to 4pm, and will involve a loaded truck travelling back and forth over Hampden Bridge to test the bridge’s performance under different conditions – including static, various speeds and different paths.

The bridge will remain open to traffic under stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 10 km/h for trucks and buses during the load testing.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control and allow additional travel time.
Pedestrians will be able to cross the bridge under the guidance of traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
