Transport for NSW is encouraging motorists travelling along the South Coast to plan their trip and allow extra travel time during the Christmas New Year period, with high traffic volumes and delays expected.
The Princes Highway south of Bomaderry has several known pinch points, including Nowra, Jervis Bay Road, Tomerong, Milton, Ulladulla and Moruya.

The busiest pinch points with predicted delays of up to 30 minutes are:
· southbound at Milton on Saturday 27 December and Friday 2 January
· southbound at Moruya on Saturday 27 December and
· northbound at Ulladulla on Friday 2 January.
NSW Police will enforce double demerit points for speeding, motorcycle helmet, seatbelt and mobile phone offences from Wednesday 24 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
