Tyree Transformers has joined forces with MATES in Manufacturing to deliver life-saving mental health and suicide prevention initiatives across their sites in Australia.
As one of the early adopters of the new MATES in Manufacturing program, Tyree, which has a facility at Braemar, is helping to lead the way in bringing these initiatives into the manufacturing sector and setting a benchmark for others to follow.
The event was attended by Federal Member for Whitlam, Carol Berry MP, and State Member for Wollondilly, Judy Hannah MP.
The partnership comes at a timely moment as Australia recognises Mental Health Awareness Month highlighting the importance of industry-wide collaboration in addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The partnership with MATES in Manufacturing will ensure Tyree’s workforce has access to practical training, peer support, and direct connections to help and case management services. By embedding MATES programs across its sites, Tyree is reinforcing its dedication to the health, safety, and wellbeing of its people.
