The Planning Proposal to implement the recommendations of the Wingecarribee
Community Heritage Study 2021-2023 is now on public exhibition until 30 November
2025.

The Study identified and assessed places of heritage significance across the Shire that are not currently heritage listed. The Planning Proposal seeks to introduce new heritage items and heritage conservation areas based on these recommendations.

The Planning Proposal, which outlines the proposed amendments, their intended
outcomes, and supporting justification, can be viewed online via the NSW Planning Portal.

Residents and property owners impacted by the proposed changes are invited to review
the proposal and supporting materials, including maps showing the location and extent of proposed heritage items and conservation areas, and submit written feedback.

All submissions will be considered and reported to the Local Planning Panel and Council.

The Planning Proposal will then be submitted to the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to finalise amendments to the Wingecarribee Local Environmental Plan.
