Wingecarribee Shire Council is inviting community members to a public hearing about the Draft Plan of Management (PoM) for Sportsground, Park and General Community Use, currently on public exhibition until Friday 30 January 2026.
The public hearing will take place on Wednesday 14 January 2026, 5.30pm to 7pm,
at the Civic Centre Theatrette at 68 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale.
The draft PoM sets out high level objectives for how Council-owned community land and Council-managed Crown reserves across the Wingecarribee Local Government Area will be managed into the future. This includes land categorised as Sportsgrounds, Parks and General Community Use – the places many of us walk, play, train and gather in
Wingecarribee.
The public hearing will outline the draft plan and offer an opportunity to understand its
potential impact on the operation of these important spaces, and to raise any questions
about the plan.
